ABOUT ME – Gabriel

My name is Gabriel, I'm 20 years old and I've been passionate about technology since a very early age. Over the years, I've developed practical experience in various areas of computing, focusing on networks, hardware and Linux systems — always seeking to deepen my technical knowledge and keep up with IT market developments.

I have solid experience with Linux systems, especially in Proxmox, Debian and Rocky Linux distributions. I work with installation, configuration, maintenance and optimization of physical and virtual servers, including RAID configuration, routine automation, proactive monitoring, backup strategies and complete corporate infrastructure management.

I have mastery of advanced PFSense configurations, working with corporate firewalls, VLANs, PPPoE, site-to-site VPN, DNS, load balancing and other essential features for secure and scalable network environments. I also work with reverse proxy using Nginx and Traefik, optimizing routing and performance of web applications in production.

I developed the Nuuvik platform using React on the frontend and Python on the backend, creating a modern and scalable solution for scheduling and payment processing. The application is hosted locally on my Proxmox server, ensuring full control over infrastructure and security. The project runs in a VM with Rocky Linux, offering stability and performance. I use Docker for service containerization and automated CI/CD via Bash, integrated with Git repositories. A dedicated VM with pfSense acts as the main firewall and router, receiving the internet link directly and ensuring security and complete traffic control.

Leadership in the implementation of the CWMP/TR-069 protocol, focused on remote management of network devices. The development and testing environment consists of a virtual machine (VM) running CentOS 7, managed via Proxmox, and a second VM dedicated to the GenieACS Server, responsible for automatic device management and provisioning. I designed and integrated a REST API for communication and automation, enabling monitoring, firmware updates, and metric collection. I work with configuration automation, consolidating my expertise in infrastructure, Linux server administration, and a systemic view of corporate networks.
